Because Even the Chosen Needs to Chat
So I’ve been away for three weeks now, and I want to apologize for that absence. But my family faced a tragedy, and it’s kept me busy and a little emotionally incapacitated. I’m feeling better-ish, now, but I can’t make any guarantees.
I just thought I’d let everyone know. I’m not gone for good. I’m just helping my grandfather through a tough time. And he needs me now more than ever. So I may or may not be on here more now, but I can’t make any promises.
I apologize again. I really do miss being on here. I miss all of you a lot. And I hope you’re all doing better than me.
/ooc OMG SORRY i forgot things get lost too much on the dash =_=ooc: //hugs// No worries. I do the same thing. »;; It’s why I was sure you were on to something.

Well…gotta go pass out now. Should’ve been in bed half an hour ago, but you guys…My goodness you guys.
@tethealaschosen: I apologize if I’ve been coming across as cruel. XD;; My muse has a self-loathing complex. Love the drama though. And I will reply to you first chance tomorrow.
@master-summoner: I have my reply to your post in my drafts. I think too hard on how to reply to your Sheena because of the love you refuse to accept I have for you. XD
@all of my new followers: omg seriously. I got, like, eight of you today. I LOVE YOU ALL!
“Well hey. Nice to see you around.”

“How’ve you been lately?”
“I appreciate the thought, Zelos.” If left on her own, Estelle could possibly get herself into all sorts of trouble. She is far to naive and trusting for her own good. “Oh… it wouldn’t be to boring for you right?” There she went putting other people before herself again, “Since you are kind enough to accompany me is there something you’d rather do?”
She was just too cute. After all of this, she was still willing to ask if he’d prefer to do something. She was still considering him first. What a sweetheart.

“Don’t you worry about that, hunny. As long as I can hang around you, I’ll be more than happy.” He smiled warmly, resisting the urge to hug her for learned fear of repercussions. “If we get bored later, we’ll figure something out. For now, I just can’t turn down the opportunity to help a young lady.”

Oh Lorelei, he was approaching. Quickly, Natalia, she told herself, compose yourself. He wants to speak with you—
“—I beg your pardon? What exactly is a ‘hunny’?” she demanded, quite possibly having mistaken the term for something far more derogative. “My name is Natalia, and you will use it instead of your crude terms.”
He paused, staring at her in quiet disbelief before his grin was right back in place. She wasn’t the first woman to shoot that term down. It was kind of cute, really.

“Alright then, Natalia, it’s a pleasure to meet you. I hadn’t meant any offense earlier.” He chuckled and maintained his usual relaxed posture. “So…was there any particular reason I caught your eye? Or was it just my usual charming air?”
Zelos got the feeling this Zelos and he were different in a lot of ways. Zelos had a feeling this Zelos didn’t think as high as he did of his friends. He thought of all his friends fondly, even though at first he hadn’t thought much of them at all they had grown on him and had even changed him. His friends didn’t try to get to know him just because of his position as Chosen. If anything they did it in spite of that.
“You and I are different, I don’t think you care about her the same way I do. You seem to be different from me.” Zelos said as he thought to himself he didn’t have to tell this Zelos he loved Sheena. If anything this Zelos was a darker more manipulative version of himself who was barely affected by his friends. He also realized this Zelos was dangerous he was now worried about all his friends from the new ones he had just made like Tessa to his old friends like Sheena and Regal. He then realized he was going to be at war with someone who was identical to him in every way except when it came to some personality flaws this Zelos had.
Different? The two of them? He turned the idea over in his head a couple of times before looking at himself flatly. No. They weren’t different. Not as different as this image of himself would like to think. He just knew himself…And he worried about himself. He didn’t trust himself.

“Mm…Maybe I’m just a little more cautious about…myself than you are.” He frowned slightly, knowing well enough that this was a conversation he could have with himself and himself alone. Because he ought to know all of this. No one else needed this weighing on them.
“I care about her. I care about all of them. They’re my friends, and they forgave me for something…I still can’t forgive myself for.” He laughed shortly, dryly, humorlessly. “I know what I did. I know why I did it. I don’t need to explain it because, hey, you’re me, right? So, at the same time, you should know I’ve still got some walls up.”
He looked up, catching his own eyes with almost bitter exhaustion. “I guess I proved your own point, huh? I don’t trust you because I don’t trust me. Fair enough reason to ask me to step off.”

“Repede says as long as you don’t step on his paws anymore, you two should be on alright terms. Though he doesn’t seem to like you much” Yuri said translating for Repede as they both agreed Zelos was definitely an odd ball, but they had both just met him so maybe their was more to him then just a flirt.

Zelos laughed awkwardly and rubbed the back of his neck absently. “Well…I guess I’ll have to make a better effort. It’s kind of a shame we started off on a bad foot, so…” He cocked his head to the side, smiling as neutrally as he could. It was a task and a half. “Truce?”

Once she’d been caught, Natalia made an effort to tear her gaze away. Yet her curiosity had yet to be sated. When she looked back, the other man was staring at her.
And he had a charming smile at that. She ducked her head briefly, thought herself a fool, and promptly looked back up; Natalia met his gaze and offered a very brief wave - more like a flick of the wrist - and remained where she stood. It didn’t feel right to approach a gentleman she didn’t know.
Zelos laughed lightly, resting his hands on his hips as he just watched her watching him. It was a singularly unique experience. She didn’t seem to know what to do with him. So, never one to miss an opportunity, he crossed the span of people himself and bowed in a flourished gesture, smile still in place.

“Hello there, hunny~. I couldn’t help but see you, standing here by yourself. My name is Zelos. Zelos Wilder. And you are~?”
